Support services and quality review – FAQs

You can download and use the Quality Standards handbooks to guide you delivery of humanitarian learning and assessment.

However, if you require more hands-on support, this will be available through HPass later in 2019. It will be possible to receive support to assist your organisation to adopt one or both sets of Standards, or to develop and implement an action plan around a particular standard.

More details will be published on this page later in the year.

An HPass Quality review is for organisations who wish to be assessed against one or both sets of Standards, in order to achieve HPass Certified Status. The external review is carried out either remotely or in-person and will look at your completed self assessment form and action plan, and review evidence you have collected that your organisations meets each of the standards. The results of the review will be referred to an independent committee, which will determine whether to award HPass Certified Status.

If you are awarded HPass Certified Status, you can use this to promote the quality of your services.

You will receive a detailed report providing the results of the Review.

A follow-up review will take place after a year to check that nothing has changed since the outcome of the first review.

This service will be available later in 2019 – check this page where the details will be published.

If you are not awarded HPass Certified Status, you will receive a detailed report providing the results of the Review and the actions you would need to take to be successful. You will still be eligible to apply for a further review.

This service will be available later in 2019 – check this page where the details will be published.
